THE COMBINATION OF EVIL SEEKING TO DESTROY THE FAMILY

During the years that my family and I lived in California I had a very close friend named Eric Pridonof. Eric had been born in Moscow, Russia, in the year 1909. On several occasions he would share with me the memories of how his family escaped Russia after the 1917 revolution. His father was a very successful and highly respected electrical engineer. Their family lived in a very comfortable home in Moscow. One evening his father returned home from work to find the family with a few belongings out in the street. The Bolsheviks had simply come to the door with guns and a mob and had put the family out of their home.

As a seven year old boy Eric could remember the family’s ride across Siberia in a cattle car. There was no heat and the mother and children had only the belongings they could hastily grab as the mob ransacked their home. After years of poverty and struggle the family finally made their way to the United States.

The most poignant part of the story was Eric’s memory of his father’s agony during the remaining years of his life. His father would start reminiscing and would begin to sob and shake his head and murmur - “...if only I had listened to those who warned us. If only I had been wise enough to spare my family those years of misery and sorrow. Oh why was I so stupid...”

Many are the voices of similar regret regarding the rise of the Nazis in Germany and the incredible toll in human misery and suffering that came from Hitler’s insanity. The prophet Jeremiah’s Lamentations after the Babylonians ransacked Jerusalem and took his people captive contains this insightful thought:

“The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should entered into the gates...thou has seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me...They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets; they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills...As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help; in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us.”

Lamentations 3:60; 4:5, 12, 17

When a sufficiently large enough segment of the population become thus estranged from the virtues and the norms that are the legacy of our nation’s founding fathers we are then in danger of losing our constitutional freedoms. The Constitution of The United States was based on the premise that the individual citizens were possessed of those virtues that enabled them to be self governing under law. Americans have been free of tyrannical despots because they were willing to honor the laws of the land and capable of the self restraint that such freedom under law required.

Many commentators on our society’s mores have noted the pathetic loss of most elementary courtesies that has taken place in the United States during the past several decades. One need only read such commentaries as that of former Appellate Court Judge Robert Bork in his work, Slouching Toward Gomorrah, to realize how pervasive this loss of civility has become. It is no accident or coincidence that this has taken place at the same time that the content and the volume of pornography and the anti-family movement has become so ever present and powerful..

The loss of respect for dignity, virtue, and the rights of others is the ever present result of the darkness of pornography. Thus, the protection of our individual rights, both legal and spiritual, requires that we do all in our power to protect ourselves and our loved ones from losing their legacy of freedom and civility in our society. The evil combination of the pornography industry, the anti-family zealots, the homosexual-lesbian cabal, and the entertainment industry are striving to do all in their power to destroy the fundamental political unit of our society, the traditional family. If they succeed, then we will have only ourselves to blame for the consequential loss of our political freedoms.

In the balance of this newsletter I am presenting just a few of the statements made by representatives of the evil combinations that are working to destroy the family unit in America. If they succeed, they will by law force upon our children and grandchildren the elimination of reverence for God, the right to bring children into the world, the ability to raise those children in a home wherein a father and a mother are able to teach by precept and by example the virtues of a religious life. The financial resources supporting these various traitors to the cause of righteousness far exceed those that have been made available for the voices defending the family, the church, and the free agency that comes under our constitution and the rule of righteous law. As Jeremiah might lament today, read it and weep for your little ones.

THE EVIL COMBINATIONS SEEKING TO DESTROY THE FAMILY

The Following quotes are taken from the testimony of Dr. Judith Reisman before the Massachusetts legislature’s hearings on HB 1641, entitled “An Act to Provide For a Comprehensive Health Education Program in Public Schools.”

“This anti-child, anti-parent, anti-Judeo-Christian and anti-family legislation would stomp out traditional American views of sexuality in all school children. This bill would tear children from their parents’ and religious protection by State sex authorities. These authorities themselves bow down to an alleged ‘academic’ curricula that commonly mandates (for a Phd) up to 120 hours of viewing (and often making) pornography including ‘erotic massage,’ ‘self massage,’ ‘fantasy, ‘masturbation,’ and until recently, including child pornography.”
